Then it became the Downtown Grand in 2013, so I assume the mod was done then. These things make a lot of weird noises that sound like they are coming through the shaft. Also this is where I stayed on this trip for the first 2 nights. I then stayed the last night at Sams Town which is in then Southeast part of Las Vegas near Henderson. You will find a breakfast buffet from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Néctar del Caribe. Bagua Bar is a swim-up bar with food options available for lunch. Mojito's Caribbean Fusion is open from 7 am to 11 pm. Rustica Ristorante (Italian) and Lola's Puerto Rican Cuisine are open for lunch and dinner. Morton’s Steakhouse is open for dinner. There is a Starbucks and an Ice Cream & Cookies Co on site as well. Caribe Hilton states it is the birthplace of the Pina Colada, be sure to stop at the Caribe Bar to enjoy one. Caribe Hilton has an infinity pool, two additional pools, two whirlpools, beach cabanas, and a hammock garden. An outdoor playground and splash fountain are available for children. The beach is protected by a rock jetty creating clear calm water. The area is full of lounge chairs with a floating dock and beach bar. Scuba diving or snorkeling are available at the beach. There is also a tropical garden with a koi pond to feed the fish. You will also find two convenience stores, a gym, tennis courts, and a spa offering massages. Babysitting is available for a fee. The property is wheelchair accessible, 100% non-smoking, parking is available on site for a fee and pets are not allowed.
