It's just like it was before, except its guided and explosive bullets have changed their looks, and you can only use the gadget while zoomed in, but that's how you get the most out of it, anyway. -------------- Right before you start through Casino City, you get a CGI cutscene. The Professor took his vacation here, and he seems to be having a lot of good luck. Jimmy runs into him while chasing a monkey with a lot of loot, and explains what happened. The Professor doesn't get mad at Jimmy for what he's done, but he still urges Jimmy to catch all of the apes that he can. Also, the Professor is worried about Pipochi with this mission, and he wants to bring the little guy back home to keep him safe. While Pipochi protests against this, Jimmy agrees with the Professor's thoughts and lets him take Pipochi back. That means from this point on, you won't have him with you for things like spotting monkeys closeby (which you can use the Monkey Radar for, anyway), or pulling off last-ditch efforts to grab a ledge. Make 'em count! -------------- With Casino City being, well... a casino city, there's a lot of huge opportunities to get a lot of coins here. So while you're nabbing up at least 11 apes, smash open those slot machines while you're at it and go nuts! Maintain a fast stream of collecting coins to make them bigger and shinier, until they become sun-shaped gold coins that are worth 10 each! You find monkeys with black pants starting here. They're not that much different compared to the first game with the trigger happy insanity, but here they like to dress sharper by wearing ties. They're actually easier to approach since their bullets don't fly as fast as they did in the first game. After you return back to the Travel Station from this level, the Professor will be alongside his granddaughter Natalie again as both of them will assist Jimmy in his adventure, such as both of them giving and explaining anymore new gadgets to Jimmy in the future as well as both of them talking to him in those phones. It's just like how they helped Spike in Ape Escape 1. Also, although Pipochi can't help you anymore, you can still see him right in the middle of the Travel Station watching you. He and Jimmy make such an adorable duo of best buds! -------------- Sorry about how I did in that room starting at 7:53. I could've made things a lot easier for me against those black pants monkeys if I hit the switch to drop those dishes on them.
